Favorite memory

"In all your life, what is your favorite memory?" someone asked me.

It is hard. There are so many good memories in my life. Alot of bad ones but I tend to shove them back. All the good times I had in my younger years are too many to list. There was the day I was reunited with my mother. There is the night I met my husband, the day we got married and thousands of good memories since then. I share precious memories with each one of my children but my favorite memory is the night my grand daughter was born. No matter what anyone says, there is something magical about the miracle of birth and the bond between mother and daugther strengthens as that tiny new life merges into the world. Yes, that is my favorite memory.

  1. I too have many happy moments but unlike you Garnet I am unable to choose just one right now. The day I married, the day each of my children were born, the day each of my grandchildren were born....oh so many and I wouldn't change ..... oh yes they are a couple of things I would choose to make some of these memories better but if I had to pick one it is the ability to remember all of these beautiful moments in my life that God has blessed me with. Life is so good:)

  2. I don't think I could choose a favourite at all. Maybe it hasn't happened yet!

  4. A birth is certainly a good candidate for a best memory.

  5. It was very hard to pick a favorite, I have to say that. Perhaps it is because she is far away and I miss her after having here here for the first several months of her life.
