something different

I have decided to do something different for mothers day this year. I am sending my daughters cards thanking them for allowing me to be their mother. Both of them were adopted as older children and they could have said no, I do not want this old woman whose hair is falling our from alopecia, and she so so old looking. She will embarrass me when my friends come home. I want a young lovely mom. But they accepted me and my husband as parents. I thank them for that. Basically they are good kids and I have enjoyed being their mom, no matter how rough it has been at times. They deserve some thanks.

  1. Oh what a wonderful thing to do. You sound like the most loving and unselfish mother I know. Your daughters, conceived in your heart, are so blessed to have you as a mum and yes you are blessed to have them as daughters. No mother - daughter relationship is perfect, in fact they can be very chalenging. Smooth sailing or not your appreciation of your girls is a beautiful thing.....:-) Hugs
