It seemed like such a long day today. I had a rough day at pt then came home and fell asleep for about an hour.

My husband went to see Jon's family then went to the funeral home. he is going to be a pall barrer tomorrow.
I don't think he wanted to do it but the family asked and it is hard to say no in a case like that.

Jon was what I call an innocent. He was retarded and had so many health issues. Life never seemed to hand him a break but he was the nicest person and had the warmest smile as well as a family of six siblings and parents who loved him dearly. He had so many friends and people loved him. He will be missed by many. I guess life did hand him some breaks. With all his problems, he had more than many others have in this life.

I am pulling away from pop and I have developed a real taste for flavored water. I seem to be drinking it by the gallons this summer. I am sure it is better then all the soda I was consuming.

good night and god bless you all....

  4. Sounds like he was very fortunate indeed!

I'm not much of a pop drinker - it never seems to leave me refreshed but rather wanting more. So I drink a lot of water - and now that it comes out of my fridge cold - I enjoy it even more. Yesterday, I put a couple sprigs of mint from my yard in it and it was extra nice.

  5. I'm a popaholic. I did do better whilst away since it wasn't often close at hand.
