I sat down and started this blog when I realized the munchkin was too quiet. Then I remembered she was in the tub. I ran to the bathroom and found the munchkin happily enjoying a tub that was about to run over so I turned it off and let her play in there for a while longer.
My husband will not retire for another year and I am already thinking he is going to be a handful when he does. He is on a three week vacation and has already driven me to the point where I want to punch him because he is following me and telling me how he thinks should be done in the house. I told him I have been keeping house for him for almost forty years and if he did not like it he should have told me a long time ago. I had heard men got like that when the first retired but not before hand.
I voted today. Split ticket.
LOL My Mom says the same thing to my Dad! Happy Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteOh Rich always wanted to retire. When he had to quit work due to his heart attack...omg, he was lost. So my advice is make projects for him that will keep him busy and away from you for a bit!..hehe
ReplyDeleteGarnet you are so honest with your post that it makes me smile. I can only speak for myself but when I retired 3 years ago it took me several months to adjust......:-) Hugs
ReplyDeleteWell.... I'm only with my husband four days a month. We don't see him ever being able to retire so I won't worry about this too much! But I will say that when he is playing video games, he gets lost in his own little world. Maybe you could get your husband to play video games, LOL!!
ReplyDeleteLove Di ♥
I just want to say that I have never had a moment of boredom in retirement. he and you need to start thinking about this now. Retirement from work should definitely not mean retirement form life. Quite the opposite I would say ... I now recall a bored moment ... but only one ... :)
ReplyDeleteOh Yes Girl!! The man needs a HOBBY!!!Hahahaaa
