I am sorry I have not been around to visit some of you. I will try to do it tomorrow but I have been up most of the day and will have another long day of dr's apts for my daughter torrow. She is a brittle diabetic and Her sugar has been very hard to regulate and so high. She has been quite ill from it. We have to see a few drs again tomorrow about it. I hope they can convince her to take better care of herself so we can get this monster under control. *sigh*

  2. Hello my dear friend, being a diabetic myself I know how hard it is to regulate our sugar. I take 2 injections a day but my doctor is planning on reducing me to only one and I am so happy about that. The key for me is exercise, at least 30 minutes a day. I hated it at first but feel so much better since I have started also losing a bit of weight helped. Its much easier saying it than actually doing it though....I don't diet but I do practice portion control. I could live on sugar but unfortunately have learned that if I want to have energy and feel better I cannot indulge. I still have a treat once in awhile but not nearly as often as I used to. When your daughter realizes how much better she feels with her sugars under control she will want to keep that "good" feeling and will find feeling healthy is such a good motive to practice healthy living habits. I will say a special pray for her. I hope you are feeling better as well Garnet, have a wonderful day....:-) Hugs
