We rushed daughter to the hospital the other night. She was having some real difficult times and they decided she needs to stay in there til she gets her sugar adjusted and they want to see what is causing her some back pain. Her back went out and they think she is having problems with two discs. I know that is painful cause I have had them go out.

I am just hopping they can get her diabetes under control and she will continue with it once she is out again. *keeping my fingers crossed*

  1. Hi Garnet, I hope you are feeling better...was sorry to read about your daughter but it may be a blessing in disguise....being in hospital they may be able to lower her sugar levels and her back pain can cause her sugar to rise as well. I know it sounds stupid but illness or pain can make our sugars go sky high, she has so much work ahead of her and needs all of our prayers. I hope you are taking care of yourself right now Garnet, this must be very stressful for you. As always you and your daughter are in my heart and prayers.....:-) Hugs

  2. Hello Garnet,
I sure hope that they find out away to eliminate her back problems and as Bernie said maybe get her sugar levels back in a normal range. We will say prayers for you Garnet!

  6. Wish you could come sit on my front porch and let me wait on you for a bit. Sounds like you've been busy caring for others. Your daughter's condition sounds painful. As you wrote in an earlier post, she needs to be convinced to take better care of her health. Sometimes our daughters can't "hear" it from us, their mothers. I pray that today finds her sugar better regulated and her pain subsiding.
