Okay, the turkey is in the oven and the stuffing is almost done. The kitchen smells like sage and cinnamon from all the goodies that are on the counter. Namely the pumpkin pie cake that I make every year for this time. The house is slowly filling up with family members who will be filling their bellies in a few short hours. I love these special days. I know it is alot of work but it is also alot of fun. The house is ringing with laughter and good times that are had by all of us at this time. I want to wish all of you a Great Thanksgiving and when you thank God for the blessings He bestowed upon you, please remember those who do not have the home, family or money to put food on their table, when you pray.
You are so right and that is what I mentioned today before we ate. All you have to look around you and there are so many that are suffering more than we are and lacking the essentials of life. Have a blessed rest of the weekend.
