Well, she is gone

Daughter did move out today. She moves out every so often then moves back in. She tends to do that when she is restless. When she needs a place to stop for awhile, she will be back. She says she has a job down there. Not sure what it is but I hope she does. I think her friend was able to get her on where she works. It is about four hours from here so it is kind of far. I told her that we won't be able to visit her as often as we did when she was closer but that may be kind of good. Sometimes parents need distance between them and their kids. Then when they do visit, it is nicer.

I sometimes worry about her becoming a street person but she knows she has a home to come home too.

  1. You sound like a wonderful mother, my daughter is by polar and it's been up and down with her for several years so I know how you feel. This break may be just what you need but as one mother to another I never stop worrying about my daughter and she will be 38 in a couple of weeks. Sometimes I feel it will never end but I keep praying and my faith always sees me through. Good Luck and God Bless, hugs:)

  2. Just think positive and trust that she learns from life's lessons. Maybe being on her own will be a good thing!

  3. Hope it all works out for all of you. 400 miles will be much farther for her to rely on you. Maybe this will be good for all of you. I'm sure you'll miss her anyway.

  4. I'm catching up and following your daughter's soap opera a bit. Growing up is tough for some, but I agree that the separation will probably be beneficial.

  5. Kids were meant to fly the nest - otherwise, they'd always be kids...
