I did not get much sleep last night but I still awoke to the sun shinning and a happy husband who is finally going back to work after six months of being laid off. He is a great man but I fear I saw way too much of him these past months and he was wearing thin. He got to following me around thru the kitchen telling me what I was doing wrong with my cooking and those of you who have been queens in your kitchen for years like I have, would find that nerve wracking too, I think. But he is a good man so I tried not to snap too much at him for it. Besides there were days when he did the cooking himself and I liked that.

He did take some more pics of some wild flowers and our sweet peas that came up on their own. Later we had my mil in for spaghetti dinner before he left for work.

sorry I accidently added two pics of the wild butterfly bush. I did not mean to and I don't know now to get rid of it.

  1. Hi Garnet,
My husband was home once for six months from a broken foot so I know exactly what your talkin' about. God love em but they can get underfoot! This is why I rarely clean house when he's home. But he's only home four days a month so I can't complain. He really does help quite a bit!
I love your flowers, they were very beautiful. And I am glad that your husband is able to go back to work. It's a blessing the way things are right now!
    Love Di

Happy to hear your husband has returned to work, it had to hard on him to be home so long and I certainly can understand how you would feel with him being there all that time......Enjoy your time again my friend....:-) Hugs
