If you are lucky, you have someone who inspires you to be a better person. Thinking of them and how they have handled the trials and tribulations they have suffered in their life leads you to think yours is nothing compared to theirs and you hope you can handle it with the same strength and dignity they have.

My sister in law SaraLee is like that. She is a wonderful warm, witty woman whose love of life has always shown through.

Ten years ago she was a teacher who taught special education. While in the classroom one day she she suffered from an anuerysm in her brain. She actually had several of them before they got her to the hospital. Once there she was pronounced dead. They had to revive her twice. She was in a coma for about four mos. When she came out, she could not speak or walk. She did not recognize any one and they thought she was going to be in a home for the handicapped for the rest of her life.

Well, it has been a long hard stuggle for her and her family but she can do everything but walk. As a matter of fact the rehabiltation center she goes to found her a job working on the computer and since her hands are still shaky and she suffers from double vision yet, they got her a computer she just has to talk to. She was showing me how to work it this weekend when they were here to visits. She is a wonderful woman and I am so proud of her and proud to know her.
