Summers last blooms.....
I thought I would share some pictures hubby took a few days ago. They are of the last of our flowers that are blooming now. The Irises and Dahalias are at the end of our drive. The poppy had just fallen off on to the walk way. I am not sure what the white flower is but it was sent to us by a seed company. I like it though.

That brilliant, velvety, poppy red really stands out againt the hard surface...
ReplyDeleteThe white flower looks like Queen Anne's Lace Garnet...it's a wild flower here in Ohio.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty - I agree with Wanda - looks like Queen Anne's Lace - wild here too but doesn't look quite as full and fluffy.
