It has been awhile since I have been on. Just seems to have been a busy few days for me here. Monday, hubby took me out to a belated birthday dinner at the Red lobster. I had lobster tail, scallops and shrimp while he had stuffed tilapia which he loved. I happen to love fish and seafood while some in my family don't. I never fixed it very much but we have discovered tilapia and I fix it quite often now.
I bought some rose of sharon bushes to grow along our drive. Some of you may know them as althea bushes. I will be planting twelve of them as long as some tricolored butterfly bushes. I love butterfly bushes. I already have several rose of sharon bushes around my house cause they are so easy to grow, so lovely and I love them too. I am just a flower nut. I love them growing outdoors but never want them for a gift. Unless they are fake. I found a picture of the butterfly bushes I ordered.

I have a butterfly bush but for some reason, it just looks like weeds. I probably have it in the wrong place and it can't grow its best. I have one rose of sharon - given to me by a former neighbor before he went bonkers. It's very pretty. I need to do a LOT of landscaping this year and haven't even begun to think about it.
ReplyDeleteWell Happy Belated Birthday Garnet! So many April Birthdays! I love flowers too. We started out with a small Rose of Sharon years ago and now it is spreading all over my yard! The Butterfly bush is beautiful! I found a strange yet cool looking bush that I bought at Lowes. I will post it later today. Glad you had a nice dinner. I love Red Lobster! Love Di ♥
