Just finished a quilt for our spare bedroom. I took me awhile to do it because I did it all by hand. No machine at all was used on it. If I were doing a king sized, I probably would have used a machine. I not only finished it but I have a wall hanging I am working on which is done out of the log cabin style block so I am going to share both with you....First is the quilt.....then the hanging.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful work Garnet! All I know how to do is a plain old block quilt! Lovely, lovely work my dear, God has blessed you! Love Di ♥
ReplyDeleteMy sister quilts and I've always thought I'd make one but the reality is that I likely won't. So I never started.

Jeannie..I am one of those people who just cannot sit and watch tv. I have to keep my hands busy or eat while I watch. I watched my foster mom quilt for years and decided to teach myself one day. If I do a king-size quilt, I use the machine to piece tom together most of the time then quilt it by hand.
ReplyDeleteDiana and a.c....thank you.
