I keep thinking that one of these days I am going to redo this blog.  I may do that this week. I tell you I have been very busy since husband retired.  I have been watching alix almost every day and when my husband is not out hunting or whatever, we are going here and there.  I should have taken the camera with me when we drove thru the amish country a few weeks ago but I did not have it.  We almost rear ended an amish buggy too. It was near dark and hard to see the dark buggy and horse but, luckily he did have some reflectors on.  

A few days later we drove up to our camp and we managed to see some elk in the yard of another camp up there. You can see the owner of that camp sitting at his outside table taking pictures of the elk in his yard.    He was right up next to them.  With no people living around there except a few campers at their camp sites, the elk do not fear man.

I have started my on line christmas shopping.  I hope to be done early this year.  Most of what I have bought is for hubby and alix.  I will get the girls in a few weeks. I just know I will be done in time so I am not rushed at the last minute.
