drainy day

I call it a drainy day cause it has been dreary and rainy all day.  A vast difference from the last week when we had record breaking temps in the 80's.

Looks like they have changed things here in bloggerland and I am not sure that I like it but only time will tell,

we took our dog to the vets the other day for his shots.  When we got him out of the car, we noticed blood on the blanket.  Turns out he cut his paw somehow.  We still do not know how.  We ended up having to have minor surgery on his paw and having five stitches put in.  He has it all wrapped and is enjoying being spoiled.  They have him on antibiotics and pain pills.  Good thing I was saving for a rainy day.  Vets are expensive but he is worth it.

Today we decided to go for a ride.  We drove out to some old farms we used to go pick berries on years ago and saw several places where old farmhouses once stood and Irisises and other flowers that I do not know the name of were growing.  We have decided to go out and get some of the plants tomorrow.  I love the old flowers.

Then we stopped for an ice cream cone.  Yes it was cold and rainy but the ice cream tasted good.

  1. My dog cut his paw too but I didn't take him to the vet as it stopped bleeding quickly and didn't seem to bother him too much. I've cut back his running to allow it to heal. It probably could have used stitches but it seems to be alright. I tried to bandage it but he had it ripped off within 30 seconds.

  2. We have had some of the cooler and rainy times here in NC too but we really needed the rain as it was too dry.
I grew up in a time when you never took a dog to the vet or gave them meds. Now I have a Chihuahua that has a health care plan at Pet Smart and takes 2 kinds of meds every day. I never would have thought but we love him and do all we can to keep him healthy.
Take care and hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  3. Blasted cold up here. But I need to do some yardwork regardless. Blech.

  4. You Play Bazaar should never use a small amount of warm water all at once. Doing this will just gradually increase your overall energy usage. Instead, try using all the warm water you plan on using immediately. For example, you should try having all your Satta King family members take a quick shower at once.

  5. If Play Bazaar you have a pet, keep that in mind when shopping for clothing. There is nothing more frustrating than putting on that cute little black dress only to end up covered in white cat hair the second you sit on the sofa. Keep pets in mind when choosing clothing colors and fabrics, Satta King and avoid the stress.

  6. Take the time to filter your recruits. Anyone looking to make a quick dollar is not worth your efforts. This attitude will lead them down paths that could ultimately hurt your business as they mismanage customers. You also don't want to dismiss someone just because they are only ready to give a few hours a week.
