Candy coated memories.
I tried to get on Bernies blog but it would not work so I am going to do this blog now and visit her later.
I was talking to some friends and somehow the talk got around to candy many of us ate when were kids at halloween time. You know how excited you were to go out trick or treating then to come home and dig through those sacks of candy you had. These are a few of my favorites. I must not forget the candy corn and the countless chocolate candy bars...far too many for me to mentioned and I loved them all.
The only ones my mom freaked out over was the cigarettes. She was so afraid I would grow up to smoke just because I liked practicing on the candy ones. I would stand there for hours in front of the mirror and pretend to blow smoke rings. It was so 'grown up' ya' know. *s* All I know is that halloween in the fifties and sixties seemed like it was so much more fun then what it is now....
