I am blessed

Some of you may understand this and some may not. Do you ever look at something or someone and think of how God has blessed your life by bringing that person into it? I feel that way each time I look at this little girl that has been in our home for two days. I loved watching her play with her young friend Holden, all day yesterday. The house actually sounded alive for the first time in many years as the sound of their laughter filled the house while the wrestled about on the floor or just played with the various toys.

Holden and his mom are both special people too. She is a wonderful woman whom has been a friend of the family for years. His mom and my youngest are best friends and I hope this young man grows up to the the older brother that Alix never had.

Even my eldest daughter gets a smile on her face as she watches her niece play. If I sound like I am bragging too much, just over look it. Okay? *s* I love being her grandma and when my daughter told me they are planning on a second one in about a year, I was tickled beyond belief. *s*
